| News | IOA Membership card required at HuntingtonIf you are planning on racing at the race in Huntington, Indiana on June 5-6, be sure to have a 2010 IOA Membership card with you at registration. This is an APBA rule and it will be enforced. If you are not a current IOA member, you can print off the IOA membership form (PDF, 1.7MB), fill it out, and take it with you to the race site. Thank you. Huntington race sanction availableYou may now view the race circular for this year's race in Huntington, Indiana on June 5-6. Please take a look before you start packing! Schedule changes!• Ionia cancelled The race in Ionia, Michigan, that was set for June 11-13, has been cancelled. • Alexandria moved The race in Alexandria, Kentucky has been moved from August 21-22 to September 18-19. This will also be the 2010 Mod Central Divisionals. Hillsdale sanction now availableThe sanction for this year's second race in Hillsdale, Michigan is now available for you to see. We hope to have a full field of Mod Outboard classes, as well as J and some stock classes. The race will run September 11-13. We hope to see you there! Race results availableThe results for this year's races in Huntington, Indiana and Hillsdale, Michigan are now available. The results for the 2009 Mod Nationals in Zanesville, Ohio are also available. Zanesville race wrapupThe race in Zanesville, Ohio has wrapped up and we had a great 2009 Mod Nationals. Thank you to everyone who attended and helped out. The results for the race will be posted here soon. The IOA still has one more race this year, in Hillsdale, Michigan on September 11-13. We hope to see you there! Zanesville race sanctionThe sanction for this year's APBA Mod Nationals in Zanesville, Ohio is now available. All Mod classes will be running for the national championships. We will also have the Junior North American Championships for all J classes (JH, JR, AXSH, AXSR). We hope to see you there! The IOA is organizing the 2009 APBA Mod Outboard Nationals, to be held on Dillon Lake in Zanesville, Ohio. Be sure to check here for detailed information about one of the biggest racing events of the year. 2009 OfficersThe officers for the IOA's 2009 racing season were elected at the Fall meeting in November. Thanks, Important info about class changesThis year, the APBA has changed the Mod Outboard classes from the standard letter designations to "cc" designations. There is a page on this site that provides a translation from the old classes to the new. I hope this helps! IOA represented at Purdue raceTeam Hillenbrand is sitting on the pole for Saturday’s Purdue Grand Prix Go-Kart Race. Crew Chief Dan Koschka (41-H) and his teammates worked hard getting ready for qualifications, which obviously paid off. Hall of Famer in our midstUSA Gymnastics recently announced its 2008 class of inductees for the USA Gymnastics Hall of Fame, including IOA member Brent Simmons, 20-P, of Columbus, Indiana. USAG said this about the two-time NCAA champion:
