2007: done deal

race boatIOA season results: For the third year in a row, Eric VanOver (at right, in the 18-H C Mod Hydro) took season High Point honors for amassing points in CMH, DMH and FEMH; veteran Bob Koschka took the Sallee Championship for earning the most points while running only one class (in CMH). 2007 class and high point winners (PDF, 12 KB).

 
 

2006 race results

IOA season results: For the second year in a row, Eric VanOver took season High Point honors for amassing points in CMH, DMH and FEMH; young Austin VanOver took the Sallee Championship for earning the most points while running only one class. 2006 class and high point winners, MS Word (39 KB).

Brighton, Michigan: The daylight hours were blustery but dry, and we ran a rapid-fire schedule of Mods, Stocks and J Hydro with more than 80 entries. Competition was often hot down through the fields as drivers tussled even for third or fourth positions. You can check out Brighton results, posted in MS Word format (73 KB).

Hillsdale, Michigan:. 85 entries enjoyed a sunny Saturday, hot laps on the water and hot eats at the American Legion, then persevered through a chilly Sunday. We have Hillsdale results, posted in MS Word format (73 KB).

Zanesville, Ohio: More than 100 entries came to Dillon Lake for a weekend of spirited competition. Once again, the story was about the fans as scores of people lined the concrete platform or sat in lawn chairs on the grass. We also have Zanesville results, posted in MS Word format (44 KB).

Huntington, Indiana: Once again, we had fabulous weather, a great turnout of boats and some hot laps of racing but the story of the weekend was fans, who came out in big, enthusiastic numbers. Lawn chairs lined the high west bank for a front-row view of the course. Kelly Sharp wrote an article for Propeller Magazine that includes final results. Here it is in MS Word format (1.2 MB). 2005 Season Results

The 2005 season is ended, and at our Annual Meeting and Awards Banquet, we honored class champions and special achievements. Eric VanOver took season High Point honors for amassing points in CMH, DMH and FEMH. Gene Noonan captured the Sallee title for earning the most points running only one class, while Garrett Gresly and Jason McBain shared the Rookie of the Year nod. "Yanker" Scott Williamson was voted Pit Person of the Year and Ed Weinert Racing received Best Appearance.

Event Champions

Mod Central Divisional champs at Zanesville included Mark Miskerik in A Mod Hydro and 25MH, Steve Roskowski in A Mod Runabout, Shawn Brill in B Mod Hydro, Brian Palmquist in C Mod Hydro and Formula E Mod Hydro, Brian Williams in C Mod Runabout, Eric VanOver in D Mod Hydro and David Mason in Formula E Runabout.


At Beaverton, North American Championships went to Ed Hearn in AMR, Daniel Koschka in BMH, Eric VanOver in DMH and David Mason in FEMH. More than 70 entries put on a great show Sunday but recurring downpours forced an early end to Monday's event.


Our season-opener Wabash Magnetics Indiana State Championships at Huntington featured two days of great racing and the following weekend victors:
